ThruBit
Logging
The ThruBit concept is a patented drillbit with a center that
can be disengaged allowing logging tools to pass through into
open hole. The logging tools can be either run on wireline
and retrieved or automatically hung off below the bit allowing
the entire string to be tripped, while recording the logs
in the tool memory. This reduces risk associated with acquiring
open hole logs in unstable formation areas, saves the time
associated with conditioning trips, and allows logs to be
run in the middle of a section without pulling out of the
hole, etc.

Separation Solutions
Total Separation Solutions combines controlled cavitation
with filtration to provide solutions for fluids management
such as oil mud remediation by evaporation of water out of
oil mud emulsions, evaporation of produced waters, and densification
of clear completion fluids. Controlled cavitation converts
mechanical energy into even, continuous heat, without flame
and without heated surfaces that can scale, so that for example,
completion fluids can be returned to an “unused”
state at the rigsite.

Coil Drilling & Coil-X
Coil-X is a newly formed venture to deploy hybrid coil tubing
drilling technology. The technology has the ability to drill
with both coil and drill pipe, and can significantly and safely
reduce drilling , mobilization and rig up/down times. The
rig will also allow for the seamless integration of some of
the other technologies discussed here.
